The Hope Score
How do we clearly assess the impact of each game?
At Kylii, we design games to awaken children's senses… but also raise awareness. With the Hope Score, we've chosen to measure and make visible the impact of our products. It's a simple and easy-to-understand dual indicator : an environmental index based on objective criteria of repairability and carbon emissions, and a social index based on social connection and inclusion.
Why is this important? The Hope Score is a tool that helps us make the best informed choices : in design, manufacturing, and repair. It also guides our customers in their own CSR initiatives.
Ecological index
The environmental impact of our products
1. Carbon emissions: Based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA): materials, electronic components and consumption.
2. Repairability: The number of people needed, the type of tools and the complexity of the intervention.
The goal: that everything can be easily replaced, not thrown away!
Societal Index
Games that promote connection and engagement.
Kylii's societal score is based on 4 criteria:
- Accessibility for people with reduced mobility
- Solidarity assembly (collaboration with associations)
- Intergenerational use
- Collaborative multiplayer mode
A concrete example of the Hope Score with the Kylii Power
- Environmental rating: A - Lightweight product to carry, 100% energy self-sufficient, easy to repair.
- Societal index: B - Accessible but less suited to multiplayer use.
